Observations

The observations I do for the Basic Writing program, as we’ve discussed, have a different purpose than those you’re doing for this class, but it might be helpful for you to see the materials I created for observations, so here’s a link:  http://www.tabethaadkins.com/observation%20information.html

I hope that’s helpful!

Agenda 10/20

Don’t forget! We’re meeting at Gee Library, beginning at 2:30, for NCoW Theater. See all of you there! And I hope to see you all at our other Commerce Week on Writing events. Thanks for all your help!

Also: If you don’t see the flier you created posted to the CWoW blog (see “Week on Writing” at the blogroll and click “promotional” tab), please send again to both Tabetha and Shannon. I missed at least one sent and I know there were a couple others I saw in print-out form but did not receive a digital version so couldn’t post.

Commerce Week on Writing (Day 1!)

The complete schedule is ready, and I’ve linked the majority of your reviews to the CWoW blog.

Check out “events” at http://convergingliteraciescenter.wordpress.com/

If you have descriptions you’ve not yet posted, please share those with us so we can share them with CWoW participants.

If you have flyers/fliers not included at the “promotional” tab at the CWoW blog, please share those with me so I can add them to the list. We hope to print those up and spread them across the campus.

Thanks for your hard work, folks! And keep those reviews coming. Include them at your blogs and consider posting specific reviews to the “reviewing CWoW” tab at the CWoW blog. Tweet about the events. Get your students involved and share their write-ups, photos, or other documentation. My English 102 students are taking fieldnotes and sharing those. The more the better! Let’s make this Commerce Week on Writing work for us!
